Why did most Americans oppose the 1787 Constitution? What was the solution to their concern?

A  They opposed the 1787 Constitution because it seemed a dangerous concentration of centralized power that threatened the rights and liberties of ordinary citizens. The solution was the Bill of Rights.

B  They opposed the 1787 Constitution because it was written by a woman who was the wife of a senator. Since he openly gave her credit, the solution was that they redrafted the document a year later and said the new creator was an editor known by the name of Joseph III.

C  They opposed the 1787 Constitution because it was written in haste and kept in old laws that were outdated from England. The solution was editing the document and sending it out to each state for a 3/4ths vote approval.

D  They opposed the 1787 Constitution because it gave too many rights to the poor. The solution was the 1st Amendment.
