A Communicative Description of your organization.
Organization: ‘Boeing World’
The goal of this paper is for you to develop expert knowledge about your organization’s structure and dynamics and to understand how it is positioned in the global context. Although some types of information will vary depending upon whether you are researching an MNC or an NGO, there are also many similarities in the types of knowledge you must obtain. For example it is important that you understand and report the mission of the organization, how is it organized, what type of leadership they have, where is it located, who are its member and employees, how large is the organization both in terms of people and finances, and where does it stand in relation to other organizations in their sector. Moreover, it is important to know about the communicative strengths, weaknesses, and challenges that face the organization. Have there been any recent scandals, are their skeletons in their closet? You also need to be sure to include information about its goals, strategies, network linkages, collaborators, relevant history, stakeholder groups, and any other information you think has relevance for choosing a partnership campaign or action and an appropriate logo.
You must use at least three sources that are independent of the organization’s website. Newspaper or magazine essays or articles, scholarly journal articles or books, sector websites, and many other types of compilations are all important sources for you. For example, if you are study a multinational organization you can find a great deal of information on the Global 500 or Fortune 500 website. Magazine like Forbes

B. Its history: when did it start, why, by whom, how has it evolved?
C. Where is it located—headquarters, satellites?
D. What challenges/scandals has it faced in the past?
E. Its position today, size, strength, range, finances, members, etc.
F. Who are the stakeholders for this organization? Does it have other partnerships, who are its customers or constituencies? Who are its competitors?
G. What are the organization’s communicative strengths and weaknesses?
H. What challenges does organization face in terms of its mission, reputation, global competition, CSR?
I. What strategies has the organization used in the past to increase market share/engagement and enhance reputation (perhaps a famous campaign to increase sales, get donations, increase volunteers).
J. What makes this organization unique?
