Being an expert in interpersonal communication, it is your job to critique this article based upon what you know about the topic from the research. In your paper, you need to provide an argument as to whether the popular press article did a valid job representing the broader literature on this topic. What would you change about the popular press article and why? How does the popular press article support or contradict research on this subject? What doesn’t it include that it should include?

Your first paragraph should end with an argument about the credibility of the popular press article.
You could then include a preview of how your paper is organized to support your argument.
Throughout the body of your paper, you should defend your rationale by providing main points (about extent to which the popular press article adequately captures what the research suggests about that topic) and supporting them with evidence from the text, class lecture, and/or readings.
Remember to cite proper APA style within the text. If citing lecture, you can simply state something like, “As it was stated in lecture,” or “(lecture notes).
