In revising his resume, iwritegigs highlighted his soft skills such as his communication skills, ability to negotiate, patience and tactfulness.  In the professional experience part, our team added some skills that are aligned with the position he is applying for.

When he was chosen for the real estate agent position, he sent us this thank you note:

“Kudos to the team for a job well done.  I am sincerely appreciative of the time and effort you gave on my resume.  You did not only help me land the job I had always been dreaming of but you also made me realize how important adding those specific keywords to my resume!  Cheers!

Manush’s story shows the importance of using powerful keywords to his resume in landing the job he wanted.

Essay on Turner’s Fears about the Frontier

Topic: Essay on Turner’s Fears about the Frontier

Instructions:

Given what you know about the United States between 1890 and 1930, do you think Turner’s fears about the frontier closing came true or not?

To answer this question, you have to think about a couple of things. First, think about what characteristics Turner thought the frontier imparted to Americans. Next, think about the time period from 1890 to 1930 and determine whether or not you think those characteristics Turner attributed to the frontier were still abundantly evident or if they seemed to be in obvious decline. Do not answer “both.” You must take a side and make an argument.

Keep in mind that there are no wrong answers to this question; there are only well-supported and poorly supported answers. How much evidence should your body paragraphs include? Enough to convince me you are right. A typical body paragraph is between 150-250 words and makes 2-4 points supporting the topic sentence. Make sure EACH paragraph has 150 -250 words ATLEAST and total five paragraphs.

You can find evidence for the past in the textbook, the Crash Course videos, and the in-class readings. You will also use the assigned reading as a source. Your footnotes for written sources should include page number for written sources (or a chapter number and section number for American Yawp), and your footnotes for video sources should include the minute and second of the video in which your evidence appears.
